Financial data provider - missing fund information

Hello there!

I see that some funds are not found and I need to add them manually. For example, Avanza Global and Avanza Zero - both offered by Avanza Bank (Sweden ).

I wonder if there is a way to request support for financial data collection of missing funds, or if it depends entirely on your data provider.

    Hi, and thanks for asking! 👋

    Avanza Global and Avanza Zero aren't in Turbobulls today. Both are mutual funds, which we don't display yet. Until we do, the custom assets you created are the right way to track them. Add a price every now and then (monthly is plenty, and Avanza shows each fund's latest price on its page), and your holdings and returns will follow those prices.

    To your question about the data provider: it plays a part, but it isn't the whole story. We can only show prices that a data provider publishes, and some assets aren't covered by any. That isn't the case here: prices for both funds are available, so the missing piece is on our side.

    We're working on adding mutual funds, along with other asset types that are missing today. We're also adding a way to link a custom asset to one with live market data, so once these funds are in, you can connect the custom assets you already have without re-entering your transactions. From then on, the prices update automatically.

    And yes, this community is the right place to ask for missing assets. I read every request, so if you hold other funds you'd like to see, reply with their names or ISINs. I'll post here as soon as mutual funds are live

    Great to hear you are working on adding mutual funds! I'll go for custom assets for now. Also, linking custom assets to assets with live market data is definitely an interesting feature.

    The mutual funds I'm mostly interesting are all Swedish:

    • Avanza Global (ISIN SE0011527613)
    • Avanza Zero (ISIN SE0001718388)
    • Avanza Emerging Markets (ISIN SE0012454338)
    • Spiltan Rantefond Sverige (ISIN SE0002152140)

    Good news !! They're in. 🎉

    You asked yesterday, so this is fresh out the door. When someone tells us what they're actually holding, it goes straight to the top of the list.

    All four:

    • Avanza Global (SE0011527613)
    • Avanza Zero (SE0001718388)
    • Avanza Emerging Markets (SE0012454338)
    • Spiltan Räntefond Sverige (SE0002152140)

    Search the name, or paste the ISIN.

    Worth explaining why this was more than flipping a switch. Funds aren't listed on an exchange the way a stock is. There's no order book and no live price. You buy from the fund company at a single price per day, set after the market closes. Different data source, different sync, genuinely a separate pipeline rather than one more row in a list. That's why funds lagged behind everything else.

    So consider this an early version. It's live and it works, with two things worth knowing:

    • Fund prices work differently from stocks. A fund gets one price a day: the fund company publishes a single NAV after the market closes, and it usually reaches us a day or two later. Where a stock refreshes throughout the trading day, a fund simply won't move. So if the number sits still, nothing's broken, that's just how funds are priced.
    • You get prices and performance, fees and holdings aren't something we can pull yet.

    We brought in more than the four while we were at it: The full Avanza and Spiltan ranges plus Nordnet's index funds. So if you also hold Spiltan Aktiefond Investmentbolag or a Nordnet Indexfond, those are there.

    On linking your custom assets: still coming, not here yet. Leave what you've built as it is for now. When linking lands you'll connect them and keep your whole transaction history instead of retyping it.
